XINYI
REVISITED
Monday, September 13
7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
Wise Communities Stratford is hosting a public meeting on September 13 from 7-8:30 p.m. to review the events surrounding the cancelled Xinyi glass factory in order to define areas where people still need to know more. The meeting is intended to help prepare citizens for the four public Good Governance sessions organized by the City of Stratford for later this month and into October.
In compliance with current health regulations, only 15 people will be allowed to attend the meeting in person at the Falstaff Family Centre, while others will be able to participate through Zoom. Registration is required for both. (registration links below)
“We are happy to host this event, not to relitigate, but to refresh our memories of outstanding issues,” says Loreena McKennitt, the founder of Wise Communities Stratford who will also host the event. “We hope this exercise will help to inform the questions posed by concerned citizens during the city’s upcoming interactive information sessions.”
Various Wise Communities documents will be revisited during the meeting, including the timeline of relevant events and a compilation of public concerns from the time.
